NFL "Expert" Picks - Week 15
Hi everyone!! It was a crazy
week for me. I apologize for not getting the football picks out in time for you
to make your picks. After the podcast on Wednesday night completed, I lost my
internet connection. I traveled for work this week along the coast of North
Carolina and down to Charleston, South Carolina. After a day of working between
Pawley’s Plantation and Charleston, we got to the airport to find out that the
flight to Philadelphia had been canceled and instead of flying out at 4:00, it
would be 8:00. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Instead of flying to
the City of Brotherly Love, the connecting flight was in Charlotte, North
Carolina. So, although I did not get home until after 12:45 in the morning, had
we flown to Philly, there is a good chance that the flight to Minneapolis would
have been canceled as well, and I may still be in Philadelphia. So, much of
Friday was laid back as well. So, those are some of the reasons that I didn’t
write much throughout the week. Getting sick (maybe food poisoning, maybe a
virus) on Tuesday was not good either. That lasted through Thursday. So, thank
you to Mini_tb for taking time to keep the site
rolling.
So, real quickly, I am going
to post our expert’s football picks, with a couple of links. Tomorrow I will
post my thoughts on some of the Twins moves this week.
· Andrew Kneeland posted another Q&A with Twins 2008 draft pick Tyler Ladendorf. He had requested questions from the readers, and got a little bit of help. Check it out.
· Aaron Gleeman is back from Vegas and will be on KFAN from 1-2 on Saturday afternoon.
· Josh Johnson discusses Ty Wigginton, who was non-tendered by the Astros. Now he is a free agent, so I am sure his name will come up in Twins rumors. I’m not a big Wigginton fan, but he does have some decent power.
· Over the Baggy has a great Grab Bag of information on the Twins, including some insider information.
· I mentioned this at another time, but here is an article on Gophers Baseball Coach Rob Fornasiere, who was named College Baseball’s Assistant Coach of the Year.
