Good morning! Jim Souhan and Lavelle E. Neal get days off. Peter Gammons and Tim Kirkjian even get days off. So today, I am going to take a day off. I won't be doing this too often throughout the offseason. I promise. But sometimes, it's just got to happen. I need sleep. I went with some friends and just watched the Red Sox and Yankees game tonight. Happy to see the Yankees jump all over Curt Schilling. That just makes Johan Santana look better. And to see that the Red Sox couldn't even hit Mike Mussina, which makes me happier with what the Twins did against them. Now, the Red Sox made quite a comeback, but Mariano Rivera, who showed up in the 3rd inning, came in and closed the door shut.

ASTROS/CARDINALS SERIES

The Cardinals are now my team, since the Twins are out. They can flat-out rake. And their pitching is not bad either. The fact that Roger Clemens and Roy Oswalt won't be starting until games three and four really hurt them.  That combination makes me say: Cardinals in 5 Games.

Again, I apologize for not writing today. Please check out this week's Discussion Question on the Twins 2004 season and what needs to be done for the 2005 season. I'm curious as to your thoughts.

Have a great day, and I'll be back tomorrow with something!!
