Weekend Update
Good Monday Morning. This is going to be a real quick posting because I should still be packing, but a quick note is OK. It wasn't exactly a good weekend for Minnesota Sports Fans. The Twins were swept by the Detroit Tigers. The Vikings lost to the Lions. And, after evening their series with West Michigan with a win on Friday night, the Beloit Snappers lost the decisive Game 5. Six errors were the team's undoing in that game. In Game 4, Matt Fox got the win, and Joe Benson and Deibinson Romero homered. Danny Santiesteban went 2-4 in Game 5. It was great to see him hit .314 in the playoffs. For more information on those games, be sure to check out the Twins blogs on the left side of this screen. There are a lot of great ones.
Head over to Josh's Thoughts where he has posted his Top 50 Twins prospects list. I will say that there are several big differences between his and mine, but that doesn't make either of us necessarily right or wrong. Not to over-tout my own site (I mean, you're already here), but you will be able to see my Top 10 list on Wednesday. I think there will be a few surprises on my list, so please check out Josh's, then come back and check out my Top 10. Of course, I will still do a Top 50, but the timing of subsequent lists are to be determined.
Blame the HR Derby? Interesting thoughts on whether Justin Morneau's second-half swoon may have been caused by the mid-season exhibition.
