Twins Thoughts

Red Wings Notes

NFL "Expert" Picks

Friday Freelance

Good morning! It's Friday... finally! What a long week! It's been a week of ups and downs for the Twins too. Today, I will talk about the Twins win over Cleveland last night. I will post a few thoughts on the Rochester Red Wings game last night. And, of course, it is Friday, so we have our NFL "Expert" Picks as well! I am going to try to keep it short. Please feel free to comment on anything you read here, or send me an e-mail. Let's get started.

TWINS NOTES

The Twins got a nice 9-4 victory over the Cleveland Indians. Here are some thoughts on the game and more:

If you have any thoughts on the Twins season, or anything Twins related, please send me an e-mail, or post some Comments down below.

ROCHESTER LEADS SERIES 2-1

Red Wings 10, Toledo 4  – Glen Perkins started again and got his second AAA Win with six strong innings. He gave up three runs on six hits and three walks. He struck out ten including seven straight batters. He struck out the final batter of the 3rd inning, and then struck out the side in the 4th and 5th innings. Very impressive. Levale Speigner gave up one run in the final two innings. Although the Red Wings fell behind 2-0 after one inning, the bats picked up a run in the 3rd and followed it with four runs in both the 4th and 6th innings to put the game away. Jose Morales went 3-4 with a home run. Andres Torres went 3-5 with two batted in. Terry Tiffee went 3-5 with a double. Kevin West went 2-4 with a double, and Tommy Watkins was 2-4. Garrett Jones also hit a home run.

The Red Wings now lead the series 2 games to 1. It was announced that if the Red Wings win this series, Kevin Slowey would start the one-game Bricktown Showdown, a game pitting the winner of the International League against the winner of the Pacific Coast League.
