Blayne Weller Signs

According to the same unnamed source, the Twins have also signed 14th round pick Blayne Weller. Again, the deadline for players to sign before they go back into next year's draft is Friday (August 15th). That is why we are seeing things happen at this time. Weller is a Right Handed Pitcher from Key West High School in Florida. The Twins are obviously quite high on him. They have now signed their first 17 picks from this year's draft. They have actually signed 25 of their 52 draft picks. Very impressive! Not sure if there are any more signings to come, but I will let you know if there are.
