There is no new SethSpeaks posting today. If you missed yesterday's entry, you will see below that on Tuesday night, because the Twins game went 16 innings, I stayed awake for the whole thing. I was up until after 2 a.m. Well, it caught up with me last night as I fell asleep on the couch by about 9:30 and slept straight through the night. That is why there is no new SethSpeaks today.

The Twins did win last night, 5-1 over Seattle. Carlos Silva continues to amaze. This time, he went eight 1 run innings. Shannon Stewart had three hits. Lew Ford had two, including a double that scored the Twins first run. Jacque Jones hit his fifth home run of the season, which accounted for two runs. If you can believe it, even Luis Rivas contributed with an RBI double!

If you are interested in how the Twins minor league affiliates did last night, please check out their team links on the left. I will try to update the player/prospect statistics today.

As for American Idol, I was wrong... yet again! George Huff was the one to go. Not entirely surprising.

Friends - Where do I start? This is absolutely my favorite show of all time. I taped the 2 hour Dateline special and tonight will tape the entire 2 hours of finale broadcast and their appearance on Jay Leno. I am sure that there are TV shows that all of you followed very closely. Maybe it was Seinfeld. Maybe it was a drama. But for me, without question, Friends was/is my all-time favorite show. Other shows have been sad to see go. I admit, my eyes 'sweated' during the finale of Dawson's Creek a year ago. The 90210 and Party of Five finales were tough. I just hope that tonight's Friends finale is special. I hope they leave you with a twist. I hope at the end I am bawling my eyes out and saying "Wow!" out loud! I know when I saw the finale of Seinfeld 5 years ago, I sat there going, "Uhhhh... what just happened?!" So please, understand if tomorrow's posting is no the greatest or longest either, ok??? I know, it will stay in syndication for years to come, but it just isn't quite the same as eagerly anticipating a new episode. (Although, I really am looking forward to the Joey spinoff!!)

Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you didn't yesterday, please take the QUICK DEMOGRAPHICS TEST below. I got a great response yesterday Just under 50% of responders were from Minnesota, but there were responses from people from all over the country. So, if you haven't already e-mailed me, please take just a minute to do so.

I will be back tomorrow, and I will probably make up for the missed day over the weekend! In the meantime, please take a look at some of the links on the left of the screen. There are a lot of great baseball sites out there. Also, check out the Archives to see if there are any that look interesting. Also, check out the About Me, to find out more, well, about me.

Thanks for your continued support,

Seth Stohs
