(be patient!! It does take a little while to load)
Replaying Past Posts
There is not going to be much today. I'm looking at it this way. The Twins didn't play last night. The Wolves didn't play last night. Both teams will play late, West Coast game times (even the Wolves game is at home!!) starting tonight. I will be up late, and I will have to discuss those games. So, last night, I decided that I need some sleep!!! So, I am going to go into my Archives and link to a few of my old articles. Those of you who are new to this site may enjoy seeing what this site has been about in the past. So, here are a few to give you a taste:
6/3/03 - All-Time Greatest Hitters (statistics showing who was the greatest ever. Where does Barry Bonds rank?)
6/18/03 - Best I've Ever Played Ball With (I missed a couple of names I should have included, but here's a good list)
6/23/03 - Would the Greatest be So Great? (If Babe Ruth or Willie Mays played today, would they be so great?)
7/14/03 - Thoughts on Jim "Kitty" Kaat (I read Kaat's autobiography and wrote thoughts out it and Kaat's career)
7/17/03 - Bye, Bye, Bobby, Good Bye (sometimes, it's good to admit when you're wrong. I'm wrong a lot, but that's OK!)
8/5/03 - Baseball Movies (I discuss my top 15 favorite baseball movies. I have since watched Pride of the Yankees)
9/15/03 - Twins Prospects: Mauer and More (the Twins system is loaded!)
10/9/03 - Now What? (right after the Twins season ended, I predicted what the 2004 Twins would look like. I was wrong a LOT!)
10/27/03 - Timberwolves Preview (close, but not really!)
11/21/03 - Vlad Guerrero Signs With Twins (it's OK to dream. I thought the Twins should offer him 5 years, $80 million. He signed for less than that. He would look good in the middle of that Twins lineup!)
12/3/03 - Hall of Fame Ballot - (Part 2 was about the Returners. How Bert Blyleven is not in there amazes me!)
1/2/04 - Q & A with Seth (I had people send me questions on anything. See what I said.)
2/5/04 - Fantasy Perspective - Rookies and Prospects (Part 13 of a series on each player for each MLB team)
2/20/04 - Discussion Question: Baseball's Economics (we have had a few Discussion Questions where the reader is able to contribute. I love hearing other thoughts and opinions.)
Well, that's it, that should be plenty of good reading for you today in my laziness! Again, I apologize, but I am going to sleep!! There will be some late nights in the next couple of weeks!
If you have any questions, comments or topics you would like to read about, e-mail me. thanks!

It's official. It wasn't a well kept secret. Everyone knew he would and should win the award. People talked about Tim Duncan, but probably only to keep some suspense. In the end, Kevin Garnett was the clear-cut MVP choice. He received 120 of a possible 123 first place votes on his way to an easy win.
It was a great choice. Some say that part of being an MVP is an ability to make your teammates better. Yes, that can also be said about Tim Duncan. Can it be said about Shaq or Kobe? I don't think so. Jermaine O'Neal? Not yet. Peja? No.
Anyway, I am just really happy that Garnett finally won this award after finishing second twice before.
Any thoughts? E-mail me.
Wolves versus Kings... Round 1. Tonight at 8:30 from Target Center. I am really excited about this series. It should be very competitive and very fun to watch!
That is it for today. Happy Tuesday to everyone! I hope all is well with you! If you have any questions or comments on anything you see above, or anything at all, please feel free to e-mail me.
Have yourself a wonder-filled day!
