If You Can't Say Something Nice...
Lots of weekend postings, so if you didn't catch them, be sure to scroll down for plenty of Twins information.
Alright, the Twins lost again yesterday. They lost two out of three to the lowly Rangers. They aren't hitting. The bullpen has had to be used too much. If you read things other places, you would swear that there wasn't anything positive about the Twins right now...
But I happen to think that there are several things that are quite positive with the Twins right now. I'll note a few, and then I want you to add to the list:
Scott Baker - 27 strikeouts and just five walks in 30 innings.
Joe Nathan - best closer in baseball still.
Justin Morneau is tied for the AL lead with six home runs, and his 21 RBI is tied for second in the league.
Carlos Gomez leads the AL in Stolen Bases with 10.
Brendan Harris is showing that his hitting in 2007 was not a fluke.
Joe Mauer is back over .300.
I think it is important to be positive during the tough times!!
