Twins/Young Avoid Arbitration
According to a
status update on Delmon Young’s Facebook
page, he and the Twins reached an agreement tonight to avoid arbitration.
Details are unknown at this time. Young had asked for $6.25 million, and the
Twins countered with an offer of $4.65 million. The midpoint is $5.45 million.
No matter the number, he will receive a significant raise from the $2.6 million
he made in 2010.
Young posted on
his Facebook page, “”
