6 Years, $137.5 Million

Now all Johan Santana has to do is pass his physical and the trade will be complete and official. With the $13.25 he is owed for the 2008 season, that comes to a nice 7 years, $150.75 million or $21.3 million per season. Not a bad day for the lefty. I personally hope he stays healthy and continues to pitch as he has throughout his career. A deal like this is risky on so many levels! What are your thoughts?
